Who are we, and what do we do?
Friends of Timber Trail (FOTT), is a volunteer based incorporated society. It is open to anyone who has an interest in supporting and enhancing the trail.
Our Purpose
To contribute to the development and maintenance of the Timber Trail as an all year all weather trail to enhance the visitor experience and benefit the region (Note, this is not to undertake aspects related to regular maintenance which is currently the role of Dept of Conservation)
Fundraise and seek support to achieve these improvements.

Contributing
Our team contribute in all sorts of ways from volunteering on site (digging, nailing, planning and more), providing specialist advice, materials and services, fundraising and in general sharing the love for the Timber Trail - a very special part of the Pureora Forest. We welcome support in all forms.
Our Volunteer Committee
Our committee is made up of a range of people representing operators, past contractors, keen cyclists, local iwi representatives - all who are focused on making the trail the best it can be.
(You don't have to be on the committee to be a vital member of FOTT)
